    This is a wonderful summer salad with complete protein from vegetarian sources (lentils and rice). It is loaded with mineral packed sea vegetables and marinated with your favorite salad dressing. Making a batch for the week, you can take it with you to work for lunch or in a cooler for a picnic. It’s light, simple and refreshing. This recipe is in honor of Luvenia Kaduma of Detroit Michigan who made the very best macrobiotic grain salads. Ingredients - firmly cooked brown rice, firmly cooked lentils, lightly steamed crunchy cut vegetables (broccoli, green beans, asparagus etc), vinaigrette salad dressing, 1 tsp to 1 tbs of sea vegetables soaked, preferably hiziki, pine nuts or nuts (optional), Tahini dressing. In a bowl mix brown rice, lentils and vegetables. It can be a 1 to 1 ratio or predominantly grain. Your choice. Add 1 to 3 tablespoons of tahini and season with salad dressing. Add pine nuts if you like. For more flavors, prepare the day before and allow it to marinate overnight
