Lemon Tea: A Winter Must Have

In the winter, keep the teapot filled with hot water.

For sore throats, head congestion, persistent coughs, stomach upsets, menstrual cramps or to get warmed up, grate, pulverize or blend, Nutri bullet, 1/2 inch of fresh ginger root in water. Poor 8-12 oz of hot teapot water over the grated/pulverized ginger placed in a tea ball or tea mesh in a glass, porcelain on steel or ceramic pot. Alternately, fill the blender or Nutri bullet with safe levels of water and ginger, blend. Add the nutrabullet ginger water mix to the pot. On low heat, boil for 5-7 minutes, covered.

Prepare the juice of 1-2 lemons per 8-12 oz cup of water. Use a citrus juicer or juice them whole with zest included (get ready for super sour/bitter but more nutrients).

Strain the hot ginger tea while pouring it into a cup of your choice.

If you used the tea ball or the mesh, it will already be strained.

Add 1-3 teaspoons of lemon juice to every 8-12 of hot water or ginger water and sweeten with honey for extra soothing of a sore throat or persistent cough.

Can sip throughout the day. Ahhhhhh! Enjoy! Drink as hot as tolerated....

the medicine is in the heat!
